Why Surface Testing Matters

Soluble salts trapped under protective coatings are a primary cause of premature coating failure and corrosion. While traditional methods (ISO 8502-6) rely on manual extraction, this meter measures the conductivity of dissolved ions in microsiemens per centimeter ( μ S / c m ) and automatically converts the data into NaCl equivalent concentrations. This ensures strict adherence to industry cleanliness standards without the hassle of consumables.
